Happy Halloween.

We started our Halloween season off with a potluck and trunk or treat at Shadow Hawk with our good friends the Hulberts and of course Larsens. Afterwards Bryan informed me that this the best big party he's been to.

Mommy & Caden.

He wanted to be Super Why, but I just couldn't muster the energy to build a costume this year...so he said he would be ONLY the dragon again, without the head piece, of course.The party had face painting and tattoos, which my boys had zero time for. They were far too busy shooting off rockets with the "big boys." I swear I watched them do this 200 times.
Caden & MaxThis face says it all.
And an attempt of a cousin picture. I took at least 20 and this was by far the best. :)

Phipps Baby {do they come in anything besides boy?!?} number 3 making their debut

April 24, 2012! Good effort Caden. Parker, not so much.

All my doctor could say to me when I came in was, "Wow! Your going to be... busy."

Summer.

We've swam. We've made and painted a new house for the goats.
We've babysat Grandma and Bumpa's goats.We've had lots of birthdays in the family. {For mine the girls took me to this amazing resturaunt out in the middle of now where, that was an old garage surrounded by gorgeous gardens.} We've celebrated our great country.We've started new family traditions. {Makayla got baptized and we compiled a book our the family testimony's for her.}We've met up with cute friends from law school. {Garin thanks again for making the drive. So fun to see you!!!}We've had a delicious mexican fiesta with Bry's good buddy from high school. We've done projects. {This is hootie. I made him for Caden's "nest", a huge pile of blankets.}
We've had water fights. We got an outdoor cat named Pindering. {Don't even ask me how I got talked into this one. Caden came up with the name. If you ask him how to pronouce it he gets very put out. PIN. DER. ING. He also thinks its such a beautiful name that we should name our next baby that.}
We've celebrated Pioneer Day at Lotus Park. We've been to Lake Tahoe or as Caden insists on calling it, "Tahoe Beach House." {Bryan and I even got a weekend away there.} It's been a fun filled summer. I think we checked all but 4 things off our to do list.

Barn Movie

This summer has been filled with so much fun. {Hence the lack of blogging} It has been heaven. It's the first time in years that we haven't been worrying about class rank, internships, school loans, insurance...blah, blah, blah. I'm sure my teeth grinding has decreased drastically. Yesterday added another favorite of the summer! For family night Wes and Bry set up a movie projection on to the barn. Awesome. Everybody came over at sunset and we watched SAND LOT! I'd forgotten how many of my daily phrases actually come from that movie. :)
I just have to throw this out there. I'm so very blessed to have such a wonderful family that keeps me laughing and makes life enjoyable. Xoxo.

Somedays I have to laugh because there are more turkeys that pass our house than there are cars. More by a lot. Tonight we took advantage of that fact. Tractor rides down the hill--which is more of a tiny slope, but the boys don't know the difference. (I realize the poor photography skills here but they still capture the boys excitement, and Bryan's.) I love this picture of Parker with his little feet up in the air. I was trying not to be the overprotective mom but after Caden did a side skid and I see Parker with a death grip on Caden's shirt, I thought--yeah, I'm just not that mom. And that was the end, but they sure enjoyed it while it lasted.

Pretty sure I've officially become the biggest Kings fan in the entire United States of America. Here's hoping Jimmer can single handedly save the Kings franchise. :) Yay! Yay! Yay!
