We started our Halloween season off with a potluck and trunk or treat at Shadow Hawk with our good friends the Hulberts and of course Larsens. Afterwards Bryan informed me that this the best big party he's been to.
He wanted to be Super Why, but I just couldn't muster the energy to build a costume this year...so he said he would be ONLY the dragon again, without the head piece, of course.
The party had face painting and tattoos, which my boys had zero time for. They were far too busy shooting off rockets with the "big boys." I swear I watched them do this 200 times.

Caden & Max
This face says it all.
And an attempt of a cousin picture. I took at least 20 and this was by far the best. :)

Mommy &

Good effort Caden. Parker, not so much.
We've made and painted a new house for the goats.
We've babysat Grandma and Bumpa's goats.
We've had lots of birthdays in the family. {For mine the girls took me to this amazing resturaunt out in the middle of now where, that was an old garage surrounded by gorgeous gardens.}
We've celebrated our great country.
We've started new family traditions. {Makayla got baptized and we compiled a book our the family testimony's for her.}
We've met up with cute friends from law school. {Garin thanks again for making the drive. So fun to see you!!!}
We've had a delicious mexican fiesta with Bry's good buddy from high school.

We've had water fights.
We got an outdoor cat named Pindering. {Don't even ask me how I got talked into this one. Caden came up with the name. If you ask him how to pronouce it he gets very put out. PIN. DER. ING. He also thinks its such a beautiful name that we should name our next baby that.}
We've celebrated Pioneer Day at Lotus Park.

And since then we have created this...
Scary :)
Lets just say family pictures were a major fail! But as promised six years ago, Bryan has kept me laughing through it all.

I was trying not to be the overprotective mom but after Caden did a side skid and I see Parker with a death grip on Caden's shirt, I thought--yeah, I'm just not that mom. And that was the end, but they sure enjoyed it while it lasted.
